I am interested in the technology that makes it easier for
people to be creative, especially to create their 3D character
animation. I received my PhD degree in computer science from Seoul
National University, Korea in 2010. I studied in Movement Research LAB
which is being supervised by Prof. Jehee Lee and learned about the
comprehensive techniques of the data-driven character animation.
During this time, my main research topic was the interactive control
of single or multiple 3D characters in a complex environment. After
graduation, I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at JST ERATO IGARASHI
Design Interface Project with Prof. Takeo Igarashi for 14 months and
studied about the HCI for making 3D character animation. Now I am
working as a postdoctoral researcher at IPAB, School of Informatics,
University of Edinburgh, UK with Prof. Taku Komura.
And I like photography.
